We had a fantastic New Year's stay at this cozy hideaway! the hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. the room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a fabulous ensuite. We loved that there was a coffee machine and kettle available for our morning brews. And the best part? the lounge area, with its comfy sofas and self-serve wine and beer fridge. It was like having our own private bar! We also enjoyed the peaceful location and beautiful surroundings, perfect for a relaxing break.
The lounge area was a bit chilly because the woodburner wasn't lit. It would have been nice to have a warm and cozy spot to relax, especially in the winter months.

The staff was helpful and generous with food and drinks. The property is secluded, making it difficult to find restaurants nearby. Breakfast and dinner options were delicious, plentiful, and good value. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a well-equipped ensuite. The lounge provided a cozy atmosphere with wine and beer available for self-service.

It was a pleasant surprise to find a coffee machine and kettle in the room, allowing us to enjoy hot drinks whenever we desired. The lounge area was cozy, with large sofas that provided a comfortable place to relax. We appreciated the availability of wine and beer in the lounge, which we could help ourselves to and settle the payment the next morning. The location of the property was peaceful and tranquil, offering a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The highlight of our stay was the delicious evening meal we had at the property. The food was outstanding and definitely worth the recommendation. our experience at Bachellerie was excellent value for money, and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

I absolutely adored the charming décor at Bachellerie. The vintage furniture and beautiful artwork created such a warm and inviting ambiance. The general areas were easy to navigate, with wide hallways and well-placed handrails, making it accessible and safe for senior people like me. I felt comfortable and at ease during my entire stay.
If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to have more staff available. The children working there were lovely and attentive, but occasionally it felt like they could use some extra hands to ensure a smoother vacation experience for senior guests.
